Meghan Markle never ceases to amaze, and even on the occasion of the presentation of the Royal Baby, Archie, found a way to draw attention to himself: white trench dress with tuxedo neckline, nude suede pumps, signed Jimmy Choo, and Jennifer necklace Meyer. A look that had been estimated to cost around 6 thousand euros, above all because the experts were certain that the dress worn by the Duchess was a Givenchy, a maison preferred by Meghan on several occasions, but they were wrong. For the photocall dedicated to Archie last Wednesday, Harry’s wife made another kind of choice, perhaps with the intention of sending a message to the public.
The dress was created by a young 28-year-old British fashion designer, Grace Wales Bonner: a Jamaican father and an English mother, born in London, graduated from the Central St. Martins School of Design in London who proposes a hybrid perspective with her creations “that mixes European style and Afro-Atlantic style. Apparently, as Il Giornale reports, the Duchess of Sussex has chosen Grace also because the latter, like her, is a woman of character who lives in balance between different worlds and cultures and knows how to merge them in a new and personal way.
