We had already taken a look at it during the Computex, but today Asus presented the new ZenBook Edition 30, an ultra-thin premium laptop that joins the Edition 30 range of products, a limited edition of devices that Asus has launched on the market to celebrate its 30 years of activity in the IT sector.
The new ZenBook Edition 30 (UX334) has a unique design to say the least. The frame is in white anodized aluminum and the cover is covered in pearl white Italian leather, embellished with gold trim.
The specifications are clearly high-end. The notebook has a 13.3-inch Full HD display based on Nano Edge technology and ultra-thin frames. Then we find the AsPad ScreenPad 2.0, the new touch screen display that replaces the classic touchpad also presented at Computex.
The processor is an Intel Core eighth generation, specifically the Intel Core i7-8565U, here combined with an Nvidia GeForce MX 250 video card and 16 GB of DDR4 RAM.
Also on the storage side we find features of all respect, thanks to the 1 TB PCIe 4x M.2 SSD, while the connectivity is entrusted to a USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, an HDMI output, a reader of SD cards and a combined 3.5mm headphone and microphone jack. Of course, there are also Intel Gigabit Wireless-AC and Bluetooth 5.0 Wi-Fi.
The ZenBook Edition 30 is undoubtedly a premium laptop aimed at professionals who want a high-performance machine, without giving up a unique and recognizable style. As far as price and availability are concerned, the PC should reach the market in the third quarter of this year only in some countries, but Asus has not yet revealed the list price.
If you can’t wait, you can still buy one of the new asus models on Amazon.
